PPS "priority" service, (not cargo), is the preferred method of delivering live animals.
There are less expensive methods to transport live animals available elsewhere such as “cargo“.
We do not recommend cargo when shipping small animals mainly because of the length of the flights.
Cargo flights include a 3 ½ hour minimum layover. Long flight times can cause undue
stress to your pet, especially in adverse weather conditions.
With Pet Ex , your pet will travel in a climate controlled, pressurized environment on
the most direct flight available. Our longest flight plans average 5 to 6 hours with
a back up flight usually available in case of delays.
